The Ones We Lost
ongoing research project - 2023
Ongoing research project based on archive family photos of friends and family that we lost on the way. Separated by death, migration, life and adulthood. The presence of the absent, the beloved one and the trace she/he leaves through these archive images, the only tangible proofs of their existence. Nostalgy and melancoly, but yet a sense of investigation and will of understanding the past, motivates this research.
This cycle was part of the group exhibition "Vazhdë - Curated with Care" by Tirana Art Lab and Bazament Art Space, Tirana 30 November - 14 December 2023
